guzzie and guss gugu 101 review

Straight to the point rating: 4/5 stars

Would I recommend this to a friend: Yes

PROS
  • Very light weight, 16 lbs (compared to my 26 lb Graco stroller)
  • Compact fold (easily fits into my car trunk)
  • Easy to fold
  • Car seat compatible (with Graco Snugride)
  • Reclines for infants
  • One touch brake
  • Basket  (although small)
  • Sleek design
  • Sun canopy included
  • Weather shield included
  • Removable bumper bar included
  • Easy to maneuver
  • Maximum child weight of 48.5 lbs
  • Price (I only paid $149.99)

CONS
  • No snack tray for kids
  • No adult tray
  • Only compatible with Graco Snugride car seat
  • Must spot clean fabric, can’t remove to machine wash
  • Wheels aren’t as high quality as I would like (They don’t have any treading, which may prove to be a real disadvantage during the winter)
  • Sun canopy doesn’t extend enough to provide full coverage from the sun
  • Small basket (I still take my Graco stroller with me when I go shopping and I know I’ll need the big basket)
  • Basket isn’t accessible when seat is fully reclined
  • No peekaboo window
  • Side canopy windows let in the sun
  • 2 hand recline with strap
  • 2 hand steering (I prefer one hand steering because with kids being able to have one hand free is always beneficial)
  • Taller parents may find the handles to be to short (41” from the ground)

Verdict: Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and now use this stroller as my primary stroller, although some may feel more comfortable using it as a secondary stroller because of the cons. It’s a good alternative to a traditional umbrella stroller, although a little pricier.
